On October 15th, 2026, we came together to mark Purple Thursday, a national day of action focused on raising awareness and support for domestic violence survivors. Honorees included Patti Giggans, lifelong activist and former Executive Director of Peace Over Violence, as well as Sara Portillo, actress, advocate and survivor.
Purple Thursday united supporters, staff, and community members in a demonstration of hope and solidarity. Together, we honored the strength of survivors everywhere, while celebrating those who support the fight for justice every day.
