At the Survivor Justice Center (Survivor Justice Center), we are always challenging ourselves to think creatively about how to ensure legal services affect change in the lives of domestic violence and sexual assault survivors. Every client comes to us with different needs and goals, and our job is to help authentically move their interests forward.

Senior Attorney testifies at Capitol to support immigration bill

Last month, Survivor Justice Center Senior Immigration Attorney Michelle Carey was invited by CA Senate President Pro Tempore, Kevin De Leon's Office to testify as a subject matter expert on SB 674, a U Visa-related bill which mandates California law enforcement agencies to review and sign U Visa certificates on behalf of undocumented crime survivors.

Board President welcomes Survivor Justice Center’s next leader

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce that Matt Strieker will be our new Executive Director beginning February 23. The search committee unanimously agreed that Matt, an experienced nonprofit leader and community advocate, was the right choice to lead our incredible team at the Survivor Justice Center (Survivor Justice Center).
