\u00bfNecesitas ayuda inmediata?<\/a><\/p>\r\n Survivor Justice Center strives to provide survivors with client-centered services which are holistic, trauma-informed, culturally responsive and collaborative.<\/p>\r\n We recognize that each client is part of many interconnected systems, including family and community, social services, and various legal systems.<\/p>\r\n Our services are provided in a way that is accessible and appropriate for survivors of trauma, while respecting and responding to the effects of trauma throughout the process.<\/p>\r\n We respect that each client’s experience is influenced by their cultural, religious, social, socioeconomic, and historical customs, beliefs, and values, while also recognizing their unique intersecting identities.<\/p>\r\n We acknowledge that the client is the expert on their own life, including the nature of the problem, acceptable solutions, and the measure of success.<\/p>\r\n Through our integrated service model<\/b>, in addition to meeting clients’ various legal needs, Survivor Justice Center provides clients with safety planning, accompaniment, case management, and social service referrals through its Community Advocacy Program<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\r\n Community Advocacy Program <\/a><\/p>\r\n Survivor Justice Center (formerly the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice) has provided legal advocacy to low-income and primarily immigrant and Latino populations in Los Angeles for over 50 years.<\/p>\r\n In its early years, the organization played a historic role on a range of social justice issues related to racial discrimination, police brutality, school desegregation, and the illegal involuntary sterilization of Latina women.
